Speed FC vs Dejvice FC
A masterclass in controlled aggression. Dejvice came to frustrate us. Instead, they spent 45 minutes watching us dismantle them piece by piece.
Match Report
The local rivalry against Dejvice FC always carries a bit of extra edge — these are the neighbours, the colleagues, the people you run into at the farmers' market on Saturday. Losing to them isn't an option. It's practically a social hazard.
Dejvice are tactically organised. They set up compact, play out from the back, and rely on transitions. It's a solid enough plan against most teams. Against Speed FC at home, in front of a crowd that numbered in the double digits, it lasted approximately 11 minutes.
Ondřej Krejčí got the opener from a corner — a proper, thumping header that he celebrated with the calm of someone who does this every week (he doesn't, but we didn't say that). Jakub Novák doubled the lead with a finish so assured that even he looked surprised. Dejvice pulled one back right before half-time and the nerves in the dressing room were palpable. Briefly.
The second half was control. Filip Kratochvíl got the third, Lukáš Horáček got the fourth, and Dejvice got a long drive home. 4-1. Comfortable. Clinical. Ours.
Post-Match Thoughts
“The header? I timed it perfectly. Completely on purpose. I've been doing headers in my garden all week.”

“4-1 against Dejvice at home. I'm not going to pretend I didn't enjoy that.”
